Can't wait for Saturday!

Built in 1931, the Parkway Theater [in Minneapolis, MN] has undergone quite a structural overhaul, but this weekend it will again be filled with a slew of items spanning the ages. Part garage sale, part craft fair, this urban flea market should be one amazing experience for browsers, knick-knackers, and clotheshorses alike. This brand-new shopping event will offer vintage clothes, jewelry, repurposed items, mid-century furniture, and cool-looking (though perhaps unnecessary) household items. In addition to being filled with Minneapolis's best roving, sans storefront vendors—including the likes of Marie Zellar (Find Furnish, formerly Marie's Modern Vintage), Top Drawer Vintage, Junk Love, JSPP Designs, Yvette Hayes, Julie Ingmire, and Carrie Martinson—the Parkway Theater will also have a well-stocked Bloody Mary bar for shoppers of legal drinking age. This event is a great way to support local businesses and to get your hands on the hard-to-find fashion and decorative items that will make your outfit or home finally complete. There's plenty of on-street parking, so bring your car (and a friend to drive if you plan on drinking) and don't worry about buying too many things.
