What I'm obsessed with right now...

Shoemint officially launches on November 25th and this is the Black Friday event that has me worked up with excitement. A shoe site curated by Rachel Bilson (love her!), celebrity stylist Nicole Chavez and shoe industry favorite, Steve Madden. According to US Weekly, shoppers will receive personalized picks starting at $79.99 each month based on their personal style.  Make sure you sign up before the launch so you don't miss out!

Corduroys 
Today is official Corduroy Appreciation Day due to the nature of the dates visual similarity to corduroys (1/11 is also considered Corduroy Appreciation Day....just in case one day a year wasn't enough for you). The date of 11/11/11 is considered to be the "holiest" of Corduroy Appreciation days, according to Wikepepdia. So in honor of this special day, I have thrown on my skinny cords.

Doo-Ri Chung Is Macy’s Next Collaborator

Though I think Macy's has hit a wall and will never be considered fashion-forward, I am super excited for this Impulse collaboration.  Doo-Ri Chung is an amazing talent and drapes a garment better than anyone. This is what collaboration lines are all about: introducing an unfamiliar name to the masses that carries a talent that can be appreciated by all. Doo-Ri will design trench coats, some arty prints, short and long dresses, and leggings for her Macy's collection, according to WWD. The price points will range from $39 to $159 and will be sold for eight weeks begining February 15th. Mark your calendars!
